1.Percentile Dice Explained

Percentile dice is also called D100 board game dice. This is not actually a singular die, but two dice. Each dice has ten faces. One of the ten-sided dice is marked with the numbers 0-9. And the other ten-sided die will be 00-90 in multiples of 10.
One die shows the digital number, and the other tells what the number is. So, for example, if the board game playing dices shows 70 and 9, the roll will have a value of 79.
Non-specified dice cannot clearly specify the digital number die, so you can use two different colored discounts to distinguish which represents which number.
However, some results are not so simple. Usually, a roll of 00 means that there is no value in the tens position. Therefore, a roll of 00 and 1 means the value is 1.

More troublesome situations

When the upright numbers show 00 and 0, it is more tricky. Now, you might be thinking, “Obviously it’s 0.” You might even want to treat it as 100, which is common. However, in this case, it will actually be 10. You can’t roll zero in Dungeons and Dragons (or in a D20 system).
The bottom line is that you should treat the 0 on the number die as a 10. It’s the only way to be consistent and get to the 1-100 range.

2. What Types of Games Use Board Game Playing Dices Rolls?

The most well-known types of games that use board game dice sets are role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons. In fact, Dungeons and Dragons dice sets are used in many RPGs. Some gamers prefer to have one or more extra dice to save rolls and speed up play.
Any game that requires random outcomes as one of its central components may be incorporated. Specific games include Backgammon, Farkle, Zombie Dice, Yahtzee, Cee-Lo, Craps, Dudo, Ludo, and Bunco. Most of these games require the use of a six-sided dice. Several of these games include a dice cup once and a dice roll once.
